Terms of Use & Community Guidelines

The Fourth is intended for adults only. By creating an account or posting in the Community, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The Community contains user-generated content and is not moderated in real time, so it is not appropriate for minors.

The Fourth is a safe, supportive space for new mothers and their villages. By posting, you agree to this End User License Agreement and our Community Guidelines.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate content removal and account termination:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or personal attacks
• Hate speech or discrimination of any kind
• Sexual content, nudity, or exploitation
• Promotion of self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or violence
• Illegal activity, including the sale or solicitation of drugs
• Spam, scams, or misleading content
• Sharing another person's private information without consent
• Medical misinformation presented as professional advice

Posts are screened against a banned-language filter before they appear. Any post matching objectionable language is blocked automatically. Content that slips through can be reported by the community (see below).

We act on every report within 24 hours. Reported content is reviewed and, if it violates these guidelines, removed — and the user who posted it is ejected from the Community and may have their account terminated.

You are always in control of your feed. Every post offers three tools:

• Report — Flag a post for our review (reason + details).
• Block — Hide all posts from a user and prevent them from seeing yours.
• Delete — Instantly remove your own post from the feed at any time.

Anonymous posts can still be reported and blocked — anonymity protects your privacy in the feed, not from moderation.

The Fourth uses AI to help generate personalized postpartum support plans (the "Generate My Support Plan" feature). Here is what you should know:

• Which AI? We use a third-party AI model provided through our platform's integration. It is not a model we host ourselves.
• What is sent? Only the answers you enter in the support-plan form (birth type, feeding plan, other children, family nearby, your primary need, and budget range). No account password or payment data is ever sent to the AI.
• Where to review it. You can see exactly what is sent directly on the support-plan screen — the inputs you fill out are the only data transmitted. We do not send your name, email, or any data from the Daily Check-In, Tracker, Community, or payments to the AI.

AI-generated content is for support planning only and is not medical advice. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns.

You own the content you post. You grant The Fourth a license to display it within the app. You can edit or delete your posts at any time, and you can request full account deletion by contacting us (see below) or using the in-app Delete Account option.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
